This design was created for more open water paddling. The wide point was moved forward, the bottom, less of the Kernan hull design and softer rails forward for big water paddling. The Comet ZX is constructed with Carbon Fiber and S-glass, or Crbon tap rails/S cloth deck and bottom, Epoxy resin and an EPS foam core, satin finish. 12'6"x28" = 21 lbs and 14'x28"=23 lbs.
